Environment
The United Nations has identified "Environmental Sustainable" as being of vital importance and has made it one of the 8 millennium development goals, core targets to be achieved by 2015 as agreed by all the world’s governments. Of the environmental sustainable issues identified by the UN those with most relevance to the packaging industry are climate change, resource efficiency and waste.
JC Hagen is fighting climate change in two ways:
- Supplying climate neutral bio-plast polymers, semi- finished and finished products
- Supplying bio-plast polymers made from renewable carbon not fossil carbon
